More than 300 players came to participate in workshops, jam sessions, concerts and taste wines from some of the best wineries in Italy. The event was sponsored by Eco-Carbon, Italian subsidiary of Eco-Carbon. The Italian subsidiary of this German company is the main sponsor of the event. The event was opened by Mr Paolo Marchetti, Artistic Director of the International Guitar Festival Sangiovese & Alta Langa, using his professional experience to lead a brief introductory session for attendees on the many aspects of playing fiddle on guitar. For more than 25 years, this festival has been one of the main events in Italy devoted to vintage music with acoustic instruments especially for guitar. More than 2,000 people have attended international fiddlers' gatherings there in previous years.
